Or perhaps you just came here via a link on our Website , or a Google Search... Anyways, Thanks for making the efforts ! We are SURE a careful reading of hereunder will enhance your chances MANIFOLD with our Executive Search Practice ! While we have SEVERAL channels of finding the Right Talent for our Clients, Advertisements in various Job Portals are also frequently used by us. Unfortunately, this ALSO leads to a VERY HIGH mail clutter ( approx. 500 e-mails a day presently, and growing !! ). Since Time is ALWAYS in short supply with us, we have evolved the following procedure . 1. E-MAIL HANDLING Any E-mailed CV to us falls in one of the following categories : a) Those of candidates who have CALLED US before sending their CV and have been asked by us to send their CVs to us MOST of our advertisements, E-mails etc. ask that interested AND suitable candidates CALL us before E-mailing their CVs. Many do. We know that such candidates are more thorough in their approach and more interested in the position they are applying for. They have clearly identified a position they fit in and have noted carefully the JOB TITLE and our JOB REFERENCE if provided ( starting with "JX" generally ). Then they have called the Person handling the position ( The Handler ). The Handler Name and Cell Phone Number are clearly mentioned in the ad. and some of them are also summarized as under :
The Handler has a preliminary chat with the caller and establishes broadly that we can work with him / her for the specific position. In such cases these candidates would have been told a " Fast Track Way " to E-mail their CVs and - many times - extra details we need in order to build a strong case. Such E-mails will be attended first by us and we will respond to them within 2-4 working days ! Given the E-mail clutter and the time factor, in many cases these will be the ONLY E-mails we will be able to attend before the position closes ! b) Those of candidates who have just E-mailed their CVs to us While we would like to reach their CVs in time, increasingly we are finding it is not possible to do so as the E-mail clutter increases and more and more good candidates call us first . So, in case you are REALLY a good Fit and REALLY interested in the position you are applying for, we strongly suggest you CALL US with our JOB REFERENCE / JOB TITLE and speak to the Handler. Even if you have already sent us your CV without such a call, we STILL suggest you call us NOW !! You can easily find the Job Reference by again visiting the Website where you saw our ad. and searching on similar parameters you did the last time !! Please DO read ALL details of the Position you are interested in , establish your clear suitability and interest and THEN speak to the Handler mentioned in the Ad., thank you ! People who CALL US and THEN E-mail us their CV per procedures we tell them during the call WILL get further and clear actions from us - either we would proceed to Step # 2 hereunder / take up their case with the Client further - or we would send them a clear mail regretting if on further evaluation we decide we can not proceed any further. 2. VALIDATING THE APPLICATION ( generally via Phone / E-mail ) An E-mailed CV is just a piece of data and NEVER represents the full picture. To understand the person behind the CV better and also as required by us/ our clients we have an ELABORATE validation procedure. This takes place over phone and / or E-mail. We may also ask the Candidates to come and meet us at this time in case we haven't met before. Many times we also send out SMSs to candidates who have been shortlisted for this phase asking them to check their E-mails and reply COMPLETELY to all the points therein. In case your CV has been shortlisted for Validation ( and in case you have SPOKEN to us before sending your CV, chances are VERY high that it will be !! ) , you should hear from us within 2-4 days of your sending your CV to us. It is VERY important that you reply completely and correctly to ALL the points during our Validation Process. Some people simply send us their CV back ( or answer only some questions and not the others ! ) - which tells us a lot about them !! This is an absolute waste of everyone's efforts - including the candidates' - since we would normally NOT proceed any further ! 3. CLOSING THE LOOP - ONCE OUR VALIDATION PROCESS IS COMPLETE....... Once you have REPLIED COMPLETELY to our Validation Phone/ E- Mail you will CERTAINLY get a reply from us ( generally via Phone, followed up by an E-mail .. ) - in case we are taking up your CV further. Even if we are NOT proceeding further, you would STILL get an E-mail from us clearly regretting and advising you the reasons thereof. In both these cases we would generally keep your CV as well as further details provided by you on file with us for future contact. This would normally happen within 1-2 days of our receiving a COMPLETE reply from you to our Validation Phone / E-Mail. We do NOT keep you in the dark !! 4. FOR FUTURE CONTACT Normally, we do NOT keep a CV with us unless we are developing / have developed a case for the candidate ( which is a very elaborate process and a candidate would be well aware of the efforts we are making ). Hence, should you wish to avail of FUTURE suitable possibilities with us the best ways are : a) Find our Job Advertisements and then contact the Handler as explained in # 1 a above. b) Register FREE with our Job Mail Service at : People registered with us are frequently E-mailed Positions we handle which correspond to their choices.
